Sally Gunn
Back in the blessed winter of ‘18, four of us went out to the far reaches of the North Carolina mountains, to a small frontier town called Hayesville, to warm ourselves with the fires of hot jams and fellowship. We didn’t have a band name, and only sketches of songs to work on.
Soul Mountain Country Blues is the full length debut of Sally Gunn, a musical side side project of Rob Nance, Dylan Shrader, Zach Strum, and Dan Marcantonio.
This project was intended to be a collaborative one in which we could all follow our creative whims. I think we achieved that with this one, warts and all. So, I give to you today an album in that spirit. It’s free, it’s fun, have at it.
